Wow, I didn’t realize it had been so long since the last post. I guess with the holidays and all we’ve been a little more busy than usual.

Today the kids had their 18 month checkup. All is well and they got 1 shot each. Avery was pretty grumpy as soon as we headed back from the waiting room. Not typical for her but she came around as we were finishing up. They were the same height at 32 1/4″ and a little over a pound or so apart weight wise. Alex weighed in at 26 lbs 10 oz, and Avery at 25 lbs 6 oz. I think Jen and I both thought Alex was heavier than that.

We’ve posed a ton of pictures to the December album and even had the kid’s picture taken with Santa (or She as Avery likes to call him). There are a few pictures in the December album of the kids playing in the snow for the first time. We got our first snow of the year about 2 weeks or so ago and they loved it.

We’ll be sure to get a few more posts in before the end of the year. I’m looking forward to some vacation time between now and the new year and I’m sure we’ll have plenty to share about Christmas.
